Mama laughed “Look son, look closely at them, they have hands and feet, they wear clothes, they don’t have beaks, they don’t have feather like us, so we're different”.
“But why?” Fibh asked. “Why are we so different?”.
Mama replied “That’s just how nature intended it to be”.
Fibh thought to himself, “That’s not good enough for me, I want to be just like them”. He flew from the nest up to a branch, closer to one of the windows. There he began to look at his reflection. Chest out, head up, beak straight he tried to walk like a boy along the branch, watching himself carefully, and correcting any mistakes as he went along.
And this is where Fibhs life changed forever. It was at this point that Fibh decided that he wanted to change from being a Bird and to become a Boy.

Chapter 6
he Parties
ibh just loved sitting in the nest every evening to watch the MacDougalls have there supper.
“Mama, why are we so different from them?” Fibh asked. “What do you mean my dear?” Mama replied.
“Well for example they sit down and eat, with knives and forks, they sing and play games after there meals”.
“Son, they are human, they have a different lifestyle to us birds” Mama explained.
“No, Mama. I want to be just like them” Fibh replied.
